
Stretching classe with Sarah Dhaine

The stretching class is open to all people, dancers or not, and of all levels.
Sequences of stretches are practiced gradually throughout the course in order to release tension and progress at their own pace and according to their morphology.
The whole body is solicited and the exercises are done to music at the barre, on the floor and standing up, making sure to breathe well.
Stretching has many benefits on the body and mind since it helps prevent injuries and reduce muscle and joint pain encountered by both intense physical practice and a sedentary lifestyle. They also have relaxing properties since they help to evacuate stress and anxiety.
Thus, the spine is lengthened, the muscles and joints are relaxed and the body, freed from unnecessary tension, regains harmony.
